Adidas has released the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, the brand’s ‘lightest ever’ racing shoe, designed for marathon runners. With a single shoe weighing only 138 grams at size 42.5, it has become the ultimate equipment for elite athletes to break performance limits. The Pro Evo 1 features a long and aggressive sole curvature that extends all the way to the toes. Initially, this feels forced and unnatural at speeds below marathon pace. However, when accelerating to marathon pace and interacting with the steep curve, the smooth rolling motion is felt, energetically propelling the runner forward.
